Komonazmuk started djing at the age of 14. Around 1996 he began a monthly residency playing along old time friend as Ayton + Kire-1. Bookings started to pile up and he soon was playing at some of the UK’s hottest events, One Nation, Telepathy, Moving Shadow, Legends of the Dark Black. Over time he had built up a good collection of contacts in the industry one of which was Bart Icus of Served Chilled/Ice Minus. “When I went to this guy’s house and heard what he was doing with such little amount of kit, I thought I can do this, I want to make my own music”.

He has been releasing tracks under the name Ice Minus and has had a string of releases on labels such as Moving Shadow, Tech Itch, Hard Leaders and his own imprint Ice Minus Recordings. His love for Drum and Bass is still as strong as ever, although he admits that Dubstep has taken the lead roll. Now being part of the H.E.N.C.H. family, Komonazmuk has quickly established himself within the Dubstep community. International appearances, tracks being caned by the elite, with numerous releases in the pipe line. Komonazmuk is defiantly unleashing his powerful and unmistakable sound upon the world.
